Iraq's situation after the invasion: a neoconservatism perspective/vision
Abstract
The features of the United States Policy developed after the attacks of September 11 (11- S), could be completely identify with the Neoconservatism assumptions understood as a political movement that defends democracy and free market, considering that peace, democracy or the change of a regimen can be made by the use of force if necessary. Therefore, the Bush Doctrine and the Preventive War, characterized by the belief that domestic policy could change the international context, the unilateralism and the United States supremacy, undoubtedly, are Neoconservatism reflects. In this context, it can be said that, the instability generated by the Invasion has a true economic background. On the other hand, while the neoconservatism presents itself as a "democratic" option as well as a generator of stability, it will be adopted as a development parameter of the North American Policy, especially in the foreign environment.
