Abstract

This article aims to analyze the genesis of the concept of security, given its importance in the development of the organization of humanity and the impact it currently has for the functioning of the economic, social and political process in any society. To accomplish this purpose, initially the article will be referred to the historical background related to the emergence of the concept in social evolution, and then refer to the notion of interest and security within the framework of a joint philosophy that still has an impact on the way we understand and control what we perceive as a threat.
