Abstract

The purpose of the present article is to make an exam of the most problematic concepts of Habermas in front of his different critics: The communicative action, the universality and rationality of the language structure, the agreement as a basis of the truth, the "dictatorship" of the media, the language seen as an interpretative action and the modern division of the cultur in three spheres of value.

Another topic of our interest is to take one position in front of the based critic wich mens that communication theories are a typic case of "theoretic poorness and low epistemological penetration" and that in the particular case of the critic theory of the society and its theory of the communication would make a point of adherence to an acritical way leading to a general interpretative orientation.

We will see if the specific conception of communication theory as it is the communicative action that Habermas calims, coluld fall into tis critic, through the exploration of the thesis which understands the language (communication) as an action and at the same time as an interpretation.
