La Decisión y su Relación con el Tiempo: Estrategia, Procesos e Identidad
Abstract
This work introduces two types of organizational decision making: strategic and operational. It holds that both types of decision making are influenced by the organization's identity culture and that moreover each one of them has a specific relation with the time factor. To illustrate such elements, the last part of the work places them within the context of decision making processes at a university research level and suggests that strategic management can be the articulating element between the decision-time relation present both within the organization and the latter and its surroundings.
