An Approximation to Leadership from the Characterization of Social Networks in the Classroom

Abstract

This paper reflects upon the association between social network behavior and the development of leadership capabilities among its participants through the learning derived from the leader-group- context relationship. This, in turn, facilitates the design of actions leading to develop such capabilities in business students and also exemplifies the way to use social networks characterization methodology in order to identify leaders and leadership dimensions in a classroom context.
